“Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it, misdiagnosing it, and then misapplying the wrong remedies.”
-Groucho Marx
Yesterday, Newt Gingrich announced his plans about widening America's reach into space. He said that by the end of his second term (he's already campaigning for a second term assuming he wins the primary and the election!), the US will have a permanent moon base, along with space tourism, and space labs. He even said that once the moon population is 13,000, they can petition to be a state, even though Washington D.C. (pop. 500,000), can't.
